LASU Students Urge Fashola To Slash School Fees



The students of the Lagos State University (LASU) under the aegis of National Union of Lagos State Students (NULASS) have appealed to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola,to make education more accessible to the indigenes of the state by reducing the current school fees paid in the institution.

The students in the appeal contained in a statement signed by the national president of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and LASU President, Mr. Medemaku Abayomi and Mr. Adeyemi Onikoro, respectively made available to journalists, said the state government could pay off their full school fees of N250, 000: directly to the management of the Lagos State University (LASU).
